PIET KLAVER
Piet Klaver joined SHV Holdings NV, a privately-held family company, in 1972.

This century old, essentially industrial services, 16 bn. company employs some 50.000 people all over the world. During his +30 years career with the company Mr. Klaver has lived and worked in several European countries and in Taiwan.

BOARD MANDATES
Mr. Klaver has been a member of the Executive Board of Directors of SHV Holdings NV from 1993 until 2006 and Chairman (CEO) from 1998. He is now Vice-Chairman of their Supervisory Board.

He is also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PostNL (previously known as TNT NV), Dura Vermeer Groep NV, Blokker Holding BV, Jaarbeurs Holding, Dekker Hout Groep BV and Credit Yard Group BV.

He is Chairman of the Board Universiteit Utrecht Holding BV/UMC Utrecht Participaties and a member of the Supervisory Board of ING Group.

Mr. Klaver is also a member of the Board of African Parks Foundation and a regular advisor to family companies.
