Dudley Eustace
Dudley Eustace joined Alcan Aluminium in Canada in 1964, undertaking a number of roles including Treasurer. In 1987 he joined BAE Systems, formerly British Aerospace, as Finance Director.
Mr. Eustace was appointed Finance Director at Philips Electronics in 1992, a position he held until 1997. Thereafter he was Vice-Chairman of Philips until 2000, when he retired.
During 2003 he served as Interim Chief Financial Officer at Ahold.
Board Mandates
Until April 2010 Mr. Eustace was the Chairman of AEGON and, until May 2009, Chairman of The Nielsen Company (VNU Group). He is a member of the Supervisory Board of Charterhouse Vermogensbeheer and Vice-Chairman of The University of Surrey. He is a partner with Tri-Artisan Capital Partners.
He has been Chairman of Smith & Nephew, Vice-Chairman of Hagemeyer and Royal KPN and was a member of the Supervisory Board of Stork.
Previously, he was a member of the Supervisory Board of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, W & S Nederland, Origin and Portuguese Sonae.Com SGPS.
He is also currently a member of the European Advisory Council for N M Rothschild & Sons, and a past member of the Advisory Board of Export Credits Guarantee Department (ECGD) in the UK, the Economics and Finance Committee of the Confederation of British Industry (UK) and the Association for Monetary Union in Europe representing the Netherlands.
Mr. Eustace is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Accountants.
