Dudley Eustace
Dudley Eustace joined Alcan Aluminium in the UK in 1964, undertaking a number of roles including Treasurer. In 1987 he joined BAE Systems, formerly British Aerospace, as Finance Director.
Mr. Eustace was appointed Finance Director at Philips Electronics in 1992, a position he held until 2001. From 1997 until 1999 he was also Vice-Chairman.
During 2003 he served as Interim Chief Financial Officer at Ahold.
Board Mandates
Mr. Eustace is currently the Chairman of AEGON and VNU, now called The Nielsen Company. He is also Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Royal KPN and a member of the Supervisory Board of Charterhouse Vermogensbeheer. He is Vice-Chairman of The University of Surrey.
Until recently he was Chairman of Smith & Nephew, Vice-Chairman of Hagemeyer and was a member of the Supervisory Board of Stork.
Previously, he was a member of the Supervisory Board of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, W & S Nederland, Origin and Portuguese Sonae.Com SGPS.
He is also currently a member of the European Advisory Council for N M Rothschild & Sons, and a past member of the Advisory Board of Export Credits Guarantee Department (ECGD) in the UK, the Economics and Finance Committee of the Confederation of British Industry (UK) and the Association for Monetary Union in Europe representing the Netherlands.
Mr. Eustace is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Accountants.
