Jean-Martin Folz
Jean-Martin Folz commenced his professional career with the Ministry of Industry and between 1975 and 1987 had various roles in the Cabinet Minister's Office and especially with the Cabinet Secretary of State for Industry.
In 1978 he joined the Rhône-Poulenc Group as Deputy General Manager.
He was Deputy General Manager then Chairman and CEO of Jeumont-Schneider, a division of
the Schneider Group from 1984 to 1987. In July 1987 he became Managing Director of Péchiney and then President of Carbone Lorraine.
In 1991 he became Managing Director of Eridania Béghin-Say and then President of Béghin-Say.
Mr. Folz joined the PSA Peugeot Citroën Group in July 1995 and in 1997 became CEO of their Automotive Division. He was appointed CEO of the PSA Peugeot Citroën Group in October 1997, a position he held for ten years.
He is currently President of L’Association Française des Enterprises Privées.

Mr. Folz is a board member of Alstom, AXA, Société Générale, Carrefour, Solvay and Compagnie de St-Gobain.
He was previously on the board of Peugeot, Faurecia, Eridania Béghin Say and Carbone Lorraine.
Awards
Mr. Folz was nominated Global Businessman of the Year by Forbes Magazine in 2001.
