Krister Svensson

KRISTER SVENSSON

Krister Svensson is the Founder and Managing Partner of CMi.

Following an early career with Nestlé and Honeywell, he created an executive search firm in Belgium which became the country’s largest independent search consultancy before he sold it to Spencer Stuart.

At Spencer Stuart, Mr. Svensson gained CEO and board recruitment experience. He managed the firm’s European Technology Practice and worked on cross-border and global assignments.

Mr. Svensson left the search business to develop a talent-centric career service for senior business leaders. CMi was born out of this research.

Ángel Durández

RUSSELL CHAMBERS

Russell Chambers is a Senior Advisor of Credit Suisse in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Chambers was the Chief Executive Officer of Credit Suisse in the United Kingdom and Ireland. He joined Credit Suisse from UBS where he was a Managing Director in UK Investment Banking. He began his financial services career at Merrill Lynch.

Mr. Chambers is a member of the Corporate Board of the National Theatre and of the UCL Campaign Executive Committee. He is a 2012 Ambassador to The British Olympic Association.

Ángel Durández

ÁNGEL DURÁNDEZ

Ángel Durández, is Chairman of Informacion y Control de Publicaciones, S.A. in Madrid. 

Prior to this he spent many years with the Arthur Andersen Group and, before retiring in 2000, was Head of their European Media & Entertainment Industry Group.

Ángel is a member of Foundation German Sanchez Ruiperez and Foundation Independiente and Vice-President of Fundation Euroamerica, a non-executive director on the Boards of Repsol YPF and the Spanish TV Group Tele 5 and a member of several audiovisual organisations in Spain.

Norman Walker

NORMAN WALKER

Norman Walker is a Senior Advisor to TPG Capital LLP.

He is a visiting Professor at SDA Bocconi and is the co-author of the widely acclaimed book ‘Leadership Passages’. From 1998 to 2003 he was a member of the Novartis Executive Committee, responsible for Human Resources.

Previously he held senior Human Resources positions at Kraft Foods in Europe and the US, at Grand Met and Ford Motor Company.

Jaap Winter

JAAP WINTER

Jaap Winter is Dutch and a partner at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, the leading law firm in the Netherlands.

He is professor of international company law at the university of Amsterdam and visiting professor at Columbia Law School in New York. Mr. Winter advises corporate clients and institutional investors on corporate governance developments in the Netherlands and in Europe.

He is a member of the European Corporate Governance Forum, set up by the European Commission and until recently was a member of the Supervisory Board of the AFM, the Dutch securities regulator.
