Krister Svensson
KRISTER SVENSSON

Krister Svensson is the Founder and Managing Partner of CMi. Following an early career with Nestlé and Honeywell, he created an executive search firm in Belgium which became the country’s largest independent search consultancy before he sold it to Spencer Stuart.

At Spencer Stuart, Mr. Svensson gained CEO and board recruitment experience. He managed the firm’s European Technology Practice and worked on cross-border and global assignments.

Mr. Svensson left the search business to develop a talent-centric career service for senior business leaders. CMi was born out of this research.

Bengt Lejsved

BENGT LEJSVED

Bengt Lejsved has been Vice Chairman of Heidrick and Struggles’ Board Services group and member of the firm’s Office of the Chairmen.  He had been part of the company’s Top Management Team since 1994 when he was elected member of H&S International Operating Committee. Bengt served as Managing Partner Europe and was a Director of the H & S Board, listed at NASDAQ.  He left the firm end of 2006.

Previously he held a series of senior line positions within SAS, Scanair and Linjeflyg and had a career within the Swedish Air Force. 

Bengt is a frequent speaker on the issues of leadership and corporate governance and in 2007 founded the company 'Senior Work', where he is Chairman.

David Peters

DAVID PETERS

David is the Managing Partner of CMi in the UK.

Prior to his current role, he was a senior partner in Heidrick & Struggles for 12 years. During that time he was Managing Partner of the UK; the EMEA region; and the European CEO & Board Practice, and was a member of the firm's Executive Committee. He was also twice elected to the Firm's Global Partnership Council.

David graduated in law from Trinity Hall, Cambridge and also holds an MBA from Bradford University Business School. He trained in Marketing and Brand Management in Procter & Gamble, later becoming Marketing Director and then Managing Director of the UK branch of Saint-Gobain's Building Glass division. After that, he held roles as MD of the Healthcare Division of the Boddington group Plc, and MD of the JHP Training group.

He has wide international experience, having worked throughout Continental Europe, the US and the Middle East.

Manon Williams

MANON WILLIAMS

Manon Williams joins CMi from the household of The Prince of Wales where she has served as a senior Private Secretary since 2004. Prior to this she worked in public affairs and governance at the BBC, as Secretary of BBC Wales and subsequently Head of Public Policy, Nations and Regions. She has also been a member of the Senior Civil Service as Director of Communications at the National Assembly for Wales and worked as Head of Press and Public Relations at S4C.

She is a former Trustee of The Prince's Trust and Governor of the Royal Shakespeare Company and has served on the advisory boards of the Philharmonia Orchestra and Welsh National Opera.

Manon holds a doctorate in Literature from the University of Cambridge.

Jaap Winter

JAAP WINTER

Jaap Winter is Dutch and is a partner of De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, the leading law firm in the Netherlands. He advises corporate clients and institutional investors on corporate governance in the Netherlands and in Europe. He also conducts board evaluations for listed and private corporate clients.

Mr. Winter is professor of Corporate Governance at the Duisenberg School of Finance in Amsterdam and professor of International Company Law at the University of Amsterdam. His research includes board room dynamics.

Mr. Winter is a member of the European Corporate Governance Forum, set up by the European Commission.
